Living

The Hermann-Giese-Haus offers 37 living places (predominantly single room), assigned to five groups, along with three additional short-term places.

There are 23 occupancies in 10 external living units, where every resident has a single room. The most external living units lie in the immediate vicinity of the Hermann-Giese-Haus.

Currently 20 mentally handicapped adults are in "Supervised Living", largely looked after in individual living units or apartments. These living units are distributed over the municipal area of Mülheim.

Currently seven individuals are looked after in a daycare facility for mentally disabled senior citizens. The daycare rooms are located in a former salesroom on the Aktienstraße, approx. 700 m distant from the Hermann-Giese-Haus.
